Very interesting video. I've owned a Phantom and now a Mavic Pro and have had nothing but good experiences with both. DJI is an excellent company with great products and support.

Same thing happen to me only a few weeks after getting mine. It was insured by State Farm Ins and they covered the entire repair. I sent it away to DJI and the repair took approx. 2 week and a total cost of $369. My insurance premium did increase this year from $25 to $38 per year.

I'd wait and buy the NEW MAVIC. Did you have insurance on your "lost" Mavic? I bought coverage from State Farm Insurance in the US, the crash would have been 100% covered.

Well spoken. I've experienced 2 crashes (1 with a P3A and 1 with my Mavic), both were 100% my fault. My advice, plan your flights in advance, focus completely on what you're doing and if the worst happens, figure out what exactly went wrong and learn from your mistake(s)..quite likely it was...

Where do you look to find what you named your quad? Mine just came back from a repair and I have to Link my RC, and one of the first questions is "...what's the name of your device....and I can't remember what I named my new Mavic. Thanks is advance.
