I wondered about this! I had figured that, like most any other polarizing filters, there was a sweet-spot for rotating them. But, I never found it mentioned anywhere. While I’m glad you mentioned it, I’m puzzled as to why (at least in my impression) this isn’t better documented. Thanks!

First, I’d make sure to shoot in RAW and try to find a good editing workflow in post.... if you can. You might also want to see what kind of results the in-camera HDR gives you. While you might want to experiment with white point while shooting, your examples look pretty decent.

Agreed with the above. Try to find a shooting mode that works for you, and try not to vary it too much, so that you don’t mess up your workflow with a bunch of different footage. Happy flying.
