    N'Gor Island Dakar, Senegal

Thanks so much. This is valuable info. I will take my Mavic and see how it goes! As for flying, I'm only there for a day so won't have too much opportunity but I'm visiting Goree Island - do you think that responsibly flying there would be likely to attract much attention? Thanks again for all...

    N'Gor Island Dakar, Senegal

Hey thanks for the reply. I found this article here which says drones could be confiscated at customs: Drone Laws in Senegal | UAV Coach (2019) From what I could understand from the Civil Aviation website, a permit is needed to fly, and you need to be a Senegal citizen to get a permit. I don't...

    N'Gor Island Dakar, Senegal

Hey, nice video! I'm going to Senegal in a couple weeks but I hear that drones are banned for foreigners. Do you happen to know if I would be able to bring my drone to Senegal? Even if I can't fly I would still like to take it to the other countries I'm visiting before and after Senegal. Thanks!!

    Restrictions in Singapore

Rules are clearly laid out and are enforced. I have even flown in legal areas and been told by security personnel to land the drone. That said, there are some nice spots that can be captured legally so it's worth bringing the drone.

Travelling to Sri Lanka - Laws and Regulations??

I recall there being x-ray scanners after the baggage claim on the way out of the airport, however when I was there they were not in operation and everyone just strolled on past with their luggage. YMMV, of course. I don't think it is illegal to simply bring a drone into Sri Lanka, it's flying...

    Strange Crash today

How cold was it? Was it snowing at the time? Could moisture have gotten into the motors during flight? Have you tried flying it after replacing the damaged prop? Wondering if it was just a motor failure mid-air.

Travelling to Sri Lanka - Laws and Regulations??

For anyone looking to go to Sri Lanka with your drone and do some recreational shooting as a tourist, here's my experience. from January 2018: Before travelling, I did some reading here and elsewhere and found a lot of conflicting information, so I managed to contact the CCA of Sri Lanka to...
