Does common sense really need to be put down in writing? If someone needs to be told that leaving the Go4 app to use other apps/functions on their phone is a bad idea while they’re flying they probably shouldn’t be flying a drone in the first place.
Like you I was on the fence about spending that much on a skin. In the end I’m glad I did! The only real downside, if you want to call it that is that if you’re not patient you’re not going to get the best results. The fit is so precise that you need to take your time to get the best results.
I was thinking the same thing. I’m sure they have a set where the “crooks” are driving a sports car. I can’t imagine there are a bunch of sports car enthusiasts up in arms over it.
Has political correctness really gotten so bad that the person participating in a legal activity is the one who's supposed to kiss the *** of the nut-job neighbor and try to assuage his irrational paranoia?
Where does it end? If your neighbor told you he really hated the color of your house...
I’m sorry, but wouldn’t your time be better spent out saving children somewhere, rather than commenting here? I’m sure the internet is loaded with children’s saving forums, this isn’t one of them. This is a DRONE forum, discussing drone related issues.
As far as the the salt water goes, sadly there’s probably no coming back from that. I know that if one of my cameras were to take a salt water bath I’d be on the phone to my insurance company.
As far as DJI and replacement, I would assume if is was indeed a drone failure and not pilot error...
It seems to me that the ranger is seriously reaching here. Here in NH there are numerous roads crisscrossing the White Mountain National Forest. By this rangers logic any commercial truck, tour bus, or any other commercial vehicle, would need a permit to drive through the forest on its way to...
As much as I hate “No Trespassing” signs, the first time I got any grief for flying on my own property would also be the last time anyone would be allowed to set foot on my property without my permission. Anyone doing so would be reported for trespassing.
Getting to? I’m at that point now and I’ve never been confronted or harassed. If I’m flying legally there is no way I’m backing down or packing up and going home. I have zero interest in attempting to placate anybody’s irrational fears and paranoias. That a job for their shrink.
Rocky Gorge along the Kancamagus Hwy is a really nice waterfall, easy to get to. Also, Diana’s Baths, not far from Cathedral could be nice. Sabbaday, also along the Kanc is nice too. Really, there’s too many waterfalls to list.
It’s also going to depend on where exactly you’ll be shooting. There is a lot of climbing in the Frankenstein Cliffs area. If they’re climbing someplace like Trestle Slabs, they’ll be climbing right from the tracks. In places like Lost in the Woods, and others you’re going to have a short...
I really like that, especially for the price. I don't really need a full on hard case, and I hate trying to cram everything back into the fly more bag.
