Ordered red FMC 1/23, it was delivered this morning one day early after only 6 days. What a pleasant change from the four month wait for the Mavic!

I always have OA off. The reduction in speed and the low-sun false-positive problem did it for me. Nearly all my flights go out over a small lake so I tend to have the bottom sensors off too. That said, I'd turn them back on if I were in a situation that I thought they'd be useful.

I always make sure nothing else is running on the S7 and put it (ironically) into airplane mode. I've heard that others have problems but I honestly never have.

I have an S7 Edge and used it with no problem. I changed to a iPad mini 4 just for the screensize.

Interesting. I've had a similar problem (although I no longer have the video). My one was a water tower on the horizon which didn't move smoothly during a pan but skipped intermittently, giving the illusion that it was not fixed to the ground. I put it down to some weird compression issue.

I personally think it is a couple of years ahead, and that we can thank the well-documented personal animosity between 3DR/GoPro and DJI for DJI throwing open the doors of their R&D toy cupboard. I still marvel at the level of integration. Sometimes I just stare at the gimbal!

Robbyg: I agree, DJI are too busy counting all the Mavic money to ship anything else :)

I'm not sure an adapter would be possible. USB from the controller to the ios/android device uses up all the available ports on most devices. Certainly don't want to use 2.4GHz wifi transmission right next to the controller and Bluetooth doesn't have the bandwidth for streaming 720p. Maybe if...
