Well, how did your shoot go?I got great video but I missed on recording the crowd and booms. Yes, I was bummed! But the footage was so good I added canned music. Here's what I ended up with: Thermopolis Firewoks 2023

Just did a test flight. ISO was about 1,400. turned out okay but can't attach the video.

Yup... good luck! I really wasn't totally bummed at first two failures. Gotta learn and get lucky sooner or later. Flying drones is an adventure in and of its self :)

Thanks! Good idea scouting the site... I did the same today for another show on Tuesday. Knowing you have the first shot in frame is important! Knowing when the show starts, exactly, is good to know too. I've given all settings in previous posts. Good Luck! Hope you capture awesome images!

It was 30 fps and 1/60 of a second. Manual focus to just short of infinity. I believe I put WB on Manual as someone said fireworks confuse sensors. As for the rest... just auto Night mode, sorry, didn't check what it actually shot at. Got a new night lens I'll try out tonight and see if I can...

Whichever has night mode. It's like magic! figure I was at max AGL.panned down 10+ degrees for 100 and 300 footers, up 10+ for 500 foot monsters!

Small town festivals are a true joy! Families with kids laughing and people inclined to help! Fireworks guy sent his brother to give me a two minute heads up to 1st shot. LOL... you need three. Kudos to Caleb and the entire town of Lovell Wyoming. So glad I captured it with my Mavic 3 Cine :)

395 agl, started at 1,200 feet from firework launch site backed up to 1,400 feet because of their monster shells. The crowd was about 75 yards from the firework launch... I was 75 yds. behind the fireworks for my drone launch.Thought at 400 ft I would be looking down most of the show... wrong...
