I calibrated the IMU, compass, controller and gimbal today. Before taking off the camera was straight ahead, but after a 4 minute flight the camera was again pointing about 5 degrees to the left, enough that it was noticeable looking at the drone. I could re-center using the C1 button which...
I have two Mavic 2 Pro’s that I use with the smart controller. Both have an issue with the gimbal going off center to the left a few degrees during flight. I have calibrated several times, and when I re-center using the controller it is fine, but after a few minutes of flight the gimbal is...
The only reason that I continue to fly DJI products is the 3rd party software support. Now that DJI is not releasing the SDK’s in a reasonable amount of time I will probably move on to another manufacturer. The overreaching DJI unlock after I have received approval from FAA to fly in...
You may be on to something by not upgrading to the latest IOS. I am on IOS 14 something, and the mini4 is worthless with the DJI FLY app. Still works well with Go 4.
I’ve been using a Ipad mini4 with DJI Go4 and Mavic Pro for years, and never had a problem. I recently got a Mini2 and the FLY app seems to be very laggy on the IPad mini 4 and I often get the CPU overloaded message as well. I always close all other apps so the Fly App is the only one...
You are lucky to have received a fix from DJI. Here is what they sent me, basically use Android or wait for a firmware upgrade, have a nice day.

I am having the same issue. It appears that the offending Firmware for the dual is V01.01.0520. This firmware upgrade (if you call it that) did essentially killed the MSX if you are using an IOS device. You can adjust the MSX fusion using an Android device, and I have had mixed results with...
I do not need the ability to analyze FLIR data , just wish DJI would support their drone with their software.
As you pointed out, I should have bought the Parrot.
I purchased the M2ED a few weeks ago, and have been less than impressed overall. I have installed all firmware updates. However I really tried to use and understand the MSX the past couple of days. I fly using an ipad mini 4, and the MSX looks like the Vision with no IR fusion at all.
Then I...
Interested in this topic as well. I would like to maintain LOS as the RPIC, and have an observer looking through goggles for SAR work.
Dont need control through goggles, just RGB, or FLIR screen view.
