    Sounds like you have a bad set of goggles. My first time hearing about this problem. Ship them back for a new set.

    Goggles without a Phone ?

    After your initial "Brand new Mavic first time setup", you don't need the phone to use the goggles. Someone else can chime in on what features might be missing. I thought I saw the map in my goggles, but I could be wrong....(I don't use/need that feature)

    Update the goggle software, plug the goggles into the controller (only the goggles, not your phone), and it should work fine. If not, something might be wrong with the goggles (the left eye going out is strange).
