I can't answer all your questions, but I did not go with the Whip antennas, the Cyclone is so easy to put on and take off, that I prefer using it all the time.

The Mavic is my first real drone, I had cheap non GPS drones before, but this is a whole new experience. I am really enjoying the Mavic and also need to learn how to adjust the camera, maybe get some filters for it.

Good to hear, I debated on which to go with, and I like the simplicity of this one.

I ordered mine on Monday, hopefully it gets here by the weekend, I did opt for the 2-3 day shipping. I can't wait to try it.
