Ten years ago this month I purchased a Phantom 3 Pro for myself for my 50th birthday, so I am celebrating a decade of flying :)
I came across the sister site PhantomPilots and immediately joined. I'd like to say a big Thank You to that community for their knowledge and willingness to share...
As an older guy with aging eyesight, I prefer to use an iPad or Tripletek style monitor when flying. I hope DJI comes out with a controller without an integrated screen for the Mavic 4 series, then I could be tempted...
Rumors posted yesterday by DroneXL says $2,250 for the base package and $3,200 for Fly More, both include new controller with 7" touch flip screen. Will be interesting to see what really happens.
It's also rumored to have an electronic ND system so no need for filters. That will be intriguing...
I was interested in that listing too, looked at the user activity, he had been inactive for a while. Somehow I found his FB page, and that had been inactive long term too, so all that scared me away. Sorry to hear someone got caught up in it.

FYI, I bought it. The activation card that I received was for Studio 18, not the current version 19. Unsure what to do, I removed the free version of 19 and installed Studio 18...
I did see that and actually acted on it. Newbie user of Davinci as of a couple months ago, but that's too good a deal to pass up! I hope I have the ability to grow into it :)
There are some on Amazon in the DJI Store, but when you look at the listing, it's from third party sellers. They claim they are genuine...but who knows.
Let us know how the aftermarket one works out.
I've flown my Mavic 3 over lots of bays and lakes with no issues. I always come back over land sooner than I might if I was just over land just to be on the safe side. And as mentioned above, I don't fly very low - 25' or more is a good rule of thumb. Also pay attention to wind direction and...
