Hi!
For some reason there is a bracket at the end that should be removed. This forum won't let me edit my original post.
Just copy everything up until the very last "{" and it should work.
I am pleased to report that today I received a full replacement of the aircraft and all five of my batteries.
I have high hopes not to have to worry about this problem again!
Thanks for the insight!
While my first suspicion was a battery flaw, I had not totally disparaged the idea of the damage being caused by the first drone as you mentioned.
After multiple replies from people without any signs of this issue I would agree with you.
I suppose in this case the...
Interesting - thanks for weighing in!
Like I mentioned in the DJI post, I am not counting out the possibility that the first M2Z I sent back for replacement had been damaging the batteries. I hope that is the case so I can get these replaced and not have to worry again...
How old are the batteries?
Various, the oldest is the beat-up looking one at a little over a year old and ~150 charges.
The others are less than six months old.
How many cycles on the batteries?
Approximately 30 on batteries #1 and #3 in the DJI post. 80 on Battery #4.
What battery charger...
Hi all,
I have found a very concerning issue with multiple M2 batteries that I would like everyone's thoughts on.
The issue concerns the last four pins of the battery which seem to have been arcing during discharge which has resulted in these pins losing contact area and in some cases, even...
The cause for me turned out to be because I also flew with Litchi and did not have DJI Go 4 set to the default app. (would just choose to "open once" every time)
When set as the default application in my Android device, .dat files were recorded again.
Should be achievable via Assistant 2 (I think there are button mapping parameters exposed), but if not that then definitely the DJI SDK can do this - although you'd have to integrate it into your own app...
Your goal is just to switch the dial that controls gimbal tilt?
It was most definitely wind.
I would always advise a small test run into and against the wind before doing any sort of distance flying like that.
Also in my experience it is not wise to use S mode flying into the wind as the tilt/power-consumption ratio provides diminishing returns
Right... would hate to see the pilot lose control and have his drone wreck havoc on all those completely empty hills! Imagine the destruction!
I am assuming this flight compiled with altitude regulations and monitored for surrounding air traffic.
This particular flight is magnitudes safer...
I think the Z-axis accelerometer was at fault after I saw BudWalker's graph with the integrated data.
But the sudden drop / regain of control in this video was very similar to my situation.
I guess we will never know for sure. Sorry for not being able to provide the .DAT - I could not get my...
The BIGGEST issue here is losing connection and the drone returning to "home" over the water as you continue to sail further away.
You can use Litchi which has a dynamic homepoint feature that will continuously update the home location as you remain connected.
However, this can still be...
Wow - thank you... I had no idea the missing .DATs had to do with auto-sync.
Here I am installing old versions of DJI Go...
For as incredible of a technological marvel DJI has managed to achieve, decisions like this sure leave me scratching my head sometimes....
