So I have an S8+ and had the stability issues. Easy solution was to set the DJI go app as a game, and use game mode to launch it. Works fine everytime, and you can customize to higher performance with no alerting from other apps allowed

The math still seems simple. Known altitude at take off, sea level as a constant, and calculated AGL based on maps in database. I do appreciate your answer, so how do we manage the 400 rule with no information about AGL (if the terrain varies)?
