New MA2 owner as of 2 days ago. Love the drone. Wish there were more local options to fly it. I joined a local RC club so I can get familiar with my drone - city bylaws prohibit use in parks.

My Canon DSLR did the same thing many years ago. There was speculation that the 4 gb limit was due to extra EU import fees if the camera was classifiable as a camcorder. It seemed to be an industry standard at the time. It was worse with the DSLR as the recording actually stopped.

Mine says USA and CA. The NA ones have airsense. I would check to see if there are warranty implications.
