I have the air. I love it. Just did a project for a client today. Worked perfectly. I have over 75 flights and it is great.

It all just means you have to be smarter than the drone. Be aware, be careful, and don't do stupid things it was not designed for.

I have been flying DJI drones for over 4 years now. The Mavic Air for 1.5 years. There is no false advertising! I have found when issues such as yours occur it is 99% of the time some form of pilot error.

This little video was shot on a Mavic Air with ND 32 filter.

If you are out of LOS technically breaking the law. BUT, within reason and most will not say or do anything. Just know where your drone is, be aware of flying objects such as planes, helicopters, etc. Also do not go so far that if something were to happen you would be able to retrieve it.

Has anyone tried using the litchi app to fly the mini?

I set my distance 2,500 I set my distance 2,500 ft and have had no issues. Also my altitude is set to 500ft, but have never had it over 350.

This is government drones not civilian.

I have not seen any de stabilization in mine since installing this set. I have just over an hour of flight with them too.

I have two sets and love them. Yes they do reduce noise and increase flight time. Best after market I could get.
