ok great thanx Meta and Yorkshire for confirming this... i think the "complicated configuration" i did some years ago...and which required to downgrade the drone to a previous firmware was not only to be able to change the height limit but also a bunch of other flight parameters to supposedly...

definetely the way to go...there is always a risk in trying to ressucitate a drone damaged by salt water...i'll go the "second hand drone" route...
