As others advised above, i cleared the cache, and the issue got resolved. my phone is iOS. The issue did not repeat since then. bear in mind that im not flying a lot.

I think that restarting the DJI4 app resumes the video (i tried it after landing the drone). So perhaps its not a drone issue rather app defect? Is it safe to restart the app while the drone is in the air?
