My drone wanted to land 200+ feet up.

Intermittent clouds. I doubt it was clouds as I have flown thought a large blanket before multiple times with no issue. It likely was condensation on the sensors as the dew point was passed.

    Portable charging for mavic batteries

So I got some parts today and I did a test whereby I used a quick charge 2.0 usb adapter (can use powerbank over 15000mah) with a boost converter to convert 9v to the required 13v. The current was limited to 1.5 amps. Charge time was around 3 hours from a 15% battery. I picked 9v because it is...

What would you 3D print for your Mavic?

    Portable charging for mavic batteries

Not so sadly while you are right the story doesn't end. 1) fast charge supports up to 12v 2) even with fast charge not high enough thus implement a boost converter. The only caveat is that if your chatget only supports 9v fast charge this will take maybe up to 2hr to charge instead of 1hr

    Custom Foam for Pelican 1200

Everything is superior to pull n pluck. The foam i picked was a very high density polyurethane foam used for sound deadening display cases. That kaizen foam would be pretty good to use the template and stack up. Pretty easy to use.
