Entry fees charged by U.S. customs Korea Mavic 4 Pro?

To determine if your drone is in CE or FCC mode, open the transmission tab in the drone's control app (like DJI Fly) and look at the signal strength chart. If the -90 dBm line is positioned close to the 1-kilometer mark, the drone is likely in CE mode with lower power. If the -90 dBm line is...

Entry fees charged by U.S. customs Korea Mavic 4 Pro?

I do not have anyway to check RID other than the fact the error message goes away and it is allowed to fly, I am able to register it, the serial number is in the range that FAA says it has RID and cannot see any reason DJI would turn it off for any specific market. What market does not allow...

Mavic 4 Pro Fly More Combo In Stock at B&H?

The sticker does not clearly say anything to the consumer. If one notices the sticker, there is the KR after the description. From what I can find on line, it seems that South Korean drones have to comply with some specific South Korean frequency regulations and laws, one of those is the...

Mavic 4 Pro Fly More Combo In Stock at B&H?

There is no sticker saying that the drone inside is different than any other, just the KR designation which could mean anything else more to do with marketing or more likely warranty coverage, no US warranty but one for Korea. I do not see how they could print all that on the box and then not...

Mavic 4 Pro Fly More Combo In Stock at B&H?

I presume it is. I will check next time I fly it but I just looked again at an image of the bottom of the box and it says that the product complies with all FCC rules for both the drone and the controller, with two FCC numbers. It also says that "This device complies with part 15 of the FCC...

Mavic 4 Pro Fly More Combo In Stock at B&H?

My KR is transmitting RID as best as I can tell, controller will give error message at at start up and then show that all is good. Mine was made 7/25. I think the KR is only for the power cord and could be for some sales reason between China and Korea. Other wise it seems like a universal kit.

correct the vendor put two in the box, the adapters work fine. I just prefer the US version because there is nothing to lose and it folds smaller

Buying DJi Drones in other countries

thank you for attaching these, but unless I am missing something these seem to be just identifying whomever as the importer, not the import form for any particular imported goods. If I an wrong let me know where I should be looking in these forms.

Yes, the safest is to register any high ticket items with US Custom before you leave. The down side is if you will be making changes every time, it can be a pain. You can also just bring a copy of your receipt with you to show if asked

Buying DJi Drones in other countries

Where is the conjured conspiracy, where is the political animus, if any thing it seems like a conflict of interest in terms of the appearance of influence for personal gain. It is a fact that Don JR is now a major stock holder and on the advisory board of a start up drone company, with a...

curious to how many in September, any shipment entering the US after Ag 29 should have had some form of tariff

Can DJI Beat the U.S. Drone Ban? BY Timothy Brazzel.

All pricing is highly nuanced but tariffs raise costs whether it is passed on to the consumer is one thing but if it raises costs for the company and they do not pass it on. It has to come from some where, less imports. less r&D, less employees. They also do not help a business that does not...
