Oh God. Always the drone police who crawl out of their rocks. I fly BVLOS almost exclusively. Last week I flew out 8400m/5.2 miles. Landed it at 1% battery. The product is literally marketed to fly up to 5 miles. I also have altitude restrictions removed on my P4P and am testing altitude...

It is the NLD “Boost” setting for the M2 series they released about a week or so ago. It improves upon FCC. NLD is the best $45 you can spend on your drone if you are in a CE region. You can boost it well beyond even FCC. No need for a windsurfer.

I'm not referring to the "FCC" mod. I'm referring to the 1.8W boost that was just released. It is 4x the power of the FCC Mod.

Or- you could just use NLD which will allow FCC power all the time, even in Europe. And you can also activate the “boost” mode for 1.8W of pure, unbridled joy that will quadruple your CE low power range. Go NLD!

That would be correct, Sir. They have moved onto other items. 10 months in and no fix for such an obvious issue. Their spokesman even confirmed they know about the problem, but they are "busy" and the engineers' time is "valuable." I guess too valuable to fix this glaring issue. Oh well.

FYI - according to Litchi - they checked in with the SDK team. The SDK team said the firmware team have NO updates regarding fixing this. It isn't happening anytime soon.
