    Liability assurance in Canada

Well the more you pay the higher the liability coverage as I have attached here. But it still is ridiculous for recreational pilots having to pay so much just for joy flights. It's like the price of 1/4 of my car insurance. :(

    Liability assurance in Canada

This is for Third Party Liability not drone damage. Yes, some companies have your drone already insured with your home insurance or you can add on for a added fee. I don't know where you're getting the $15/year info from the Gov from, the price should be around $300+ which is ridiculous to...

    Liability assurance in Canada

I bought my drone insurance off Drone Insurance Depot Drone Insurance Depot They gave me 3 quote prices plus the option for drone replacement coverage but I opted out because it wasn't worth it for a drone worth lower than 5k, even less than 1k if you are using USD. $355 for the year for...

    Mavic Air QuickShot Asteroid Fault?

I just uploaded the video as is. I've seen others just reverse the video to have a better revealing shot but originally it starts filming close then flies out to do it's little 360degrees capture maneuver. Yeah so I don't think there is a setting to change it neither is it missing on your drone.

    Mavic Air QuickShot Asteroid Fault?

Are you using auto settings on your Mavic? The first few times when I used the Mavic the colors were washed out either times when it's too dark (underexposed) or too bright (overexposed). Try adjusting the settings in manual mode and see the difference. Also shooting in midday while the sun is...

    Canadian flying in US

Thanks. Yeah I already downloaded the app per the FAA recommendation. Has anyone have experience flying in lakes that have seaplanes landing and taking off from them. According to the app it is not a no fly zone just a yellow (cautious) zone. Hope everything is good other wise.

    Canadian flying in US

I have had my Mavic Air for almost a month now and I am planning to fly it in the US, Washington State for this weekend. I already registered with FAA and read up on some rules and regulations. I am just wondering other than not flying in state parks over public places are there any other rules...

Flying in Canada (Vancouver, victoria, and whistler)

Here is a map for the restricted fly zones as well as regulations. It is harder to fly in BC largely due to how close airports/seaplanes/helipad are and even for hobbyist there is a minimum $100k liability insurance required. If you follow the rules according to Transport Canada you should be...

    Mavic Air Update issues

So I just my Mavic last week and this is my second time flying. I've probably updated to the new firmware 3 times now and every time it says there is an inconsistency in the firmware then I either have to re-update the controller and Mavic firmware. Does anyone have this problem? It is getting...

    Buying from DJI's website

I ordered mine the day it came out and had no issues. It said estimated shipping out date on the 28th and I got it 4days later. Some people say it's better to use B&H or Newegg.

    Internal storage transfer

Mine is the opposite. Cannot connect to DJI assistant but can be recognized as external hard drive though when I plugged it in it said hard drive error so I had it scan for errors and fix itself.
