Still can't get AF to work. Communicating with DJI, who say "send us some pictures", so I did.

No zoom invoked. Will test your other excellent suggestions. I think same in photo mode as video mode.

AF worked fine until re-start from a months long hibernation. AF now seems borked. Pix are WAY out of focus. With a blurry image, if I tap on AF button, the focus changes to sharp and then immediately reverts to blurry. If I long press on AF, I get the MF scale, and I can get it to focus...

As I posted elsewhere, Adobe Bridge stitches native DJI DNGs into a DNG pano.

Adobe Bridge (included in the basic "Photography" plan) stitches my Mini 3 Pro's DNGs perfectly. Creates a DNG stitch, too.

Since losing one from my Mini 2 in the snow (!) I screwed the new Mini 3 ones into the controller nice and tight and haven't removed them since. I accommodated their presence in my bag with a block of packing foam that protects them from damage.

Thanks, PanoVolo. I've printed panos five feet wide using this method on my HP Z3200. No visible degradation. After I wrote this, I discovered your drone-oriented stitcher. Looks good. I'll apply to try your beta.

For Photoshop users, once the pano has been stitched, ensure that there's just one layer for the entire pano. Then do a SELECT ALL, then choose menu item IMAGE/TRANSFORM/WARP and drag the edges of the image around until you like what you see.

The zones are managed by DJI, not the government and can be both arbitrary and inaccurate. They are in my case. I live about 6km from a small uncontrolled airspace airport. I see about 1 aircraft a week operating from it and by the time they overfly my area they're all at or above 1000 ft...

It is indeed a no-brainer. The reduction in anxiety alone is worth the upgrade price.

Don't shoot at night. Shoot in twilight. I'll look like night, but there will still be enough "fill" light from the sky to enable you to shoot. Once it's totally dark, it's very very contrasty and won't look as good. As far as ISO goes, that's up to your tolerance for noise in the image...
