Hey, any Pros or Cons to update to the latest Mavic Pro Firmware? I haven't update since June 2017 and just curious if there are any headaches they you all have noticed, whether it be flight distance, resolution, color, radio transmission, stability, gimbal.... ect. Any real reason to update...

The turn around time from the moment I sent it back to the day UPS delivered it was exactly a month...I live on the East coast...was sent to the West coast..it got there in 3 days but it took them 3 1/2 weeks to ***** the damage, and send a replacement...

Already made the call sending it back.... I'm not dealing with this nonsense anymore..... I highly doubt a firmware upgrade is going to change that... plus already upgraded three different firmwares same issue. Thanks for your guys' help

Exactly my point Daniel.... I feel that eventually that's going to do some damage ......when my refresh runs out of course... I just hate to think that I have to send it back to them because honestly their customer service is the worst I'm holding onto that as a last resort

Thunder, Thanks for uploading your video… But are you sure you're watching my video carefully? Yours does not even come close to the abruptness of my gimbal, yours is smooth .....watch mine again at the very end , it's ridiculous ! ....your start up is what I used to have. Any other options...

Here is a video of me starting it up, shutting it down, then starting it up again. As you can see the gimbal is very abrupt when initializing. Any thoughts on this? Should I be on the phone with DJI getting an RMA for a replacement, or is there something I can do?

Hey Thunder, I haven't heard of many others having this kind of start up... My first Mavic did not have this abrupt gimbal start up… It was always very smooth going back and then coming forward this one just snaps abruptly.... I'll restart it and record the initialization and see.

I agree, at this point I have no real reason to update ....I will stick with .400 until I actually hear people praising a particular firmware update.

Still on .400, here and my Auto/Tap focus is as sharp as a witch's tit!

I prefer wetter water....that dry stuff is for the "birds" :P
