It’s a bit of a mind bender when you’re new to the drone scene and aren’t sure what you need to do. Typical of a gov website that tells you 2 different things. Try taking that to court as proof and you’ll end up doing a stretch as they wouldn’t give a toss! Thanks for taking the time to reply.

The screen shot suggest I only needed an operator ID as it’s 249g, not a toy but has a camera. All sorted now anyway and thanks for the reply.

Thought as much, the CAA website isn’t clear in terms of that but more than happy to have both. Many thanks for clearing it up.
