Air 2 New roof on my house

Yep', I grew up in London, heavy slate roofs...not the same here. Asphalt Shingle roofs are the norm. The roof should last 30 years, but no good protection from wind where I am.

Air 2 New roof on my house

I've had it up over neighbors houses taking a few pics for them after storms to check on damage, it's worked out well.

Air 2 New roof on my house

The house is only 13yrs old, but has enough roof damage to warrant a replacement. From start to finish they were done in only 8hrs! Residential Roof

@Dale D, @DaveS, Thanks for the critique. I've created a short version at 1:40 that I believe conveys what I want the viewer to see. A question for you both. If you were to shoot this location, what are some elements you would be looking to capture that I have missed or not shot in the correct...

Thanks. I had the slo-mo going and thought "that was cool", then later realized it was a LOT of slo-mo...doh!

Cleveland Dam, North Vancouver - My first DJI Mini 2 video

Nicely done. I like the reveal idea (for what it's worth). I like how you start below almost entering the spillway of the dam, rise up and show overhead shots...particularly like the snow capped range in the background shot, then at the end descend back down into the spillway. Gives me some nice...

First edited video - S. FL

I liked the video, but think the first video segment at 4 secs was too short to take in the view. The last building that starts in frame, then drifts off to the right, was it to fit in the canal that extends northwards? thanks for sharing. SoFlo has some great vistas for sure.

    First Edit - Mavic Mini

Look at the gimbal settings and adjust the yaw controls so that when you release them it comes to smooth stop and easier on the eye...If I remember correctly it was somewhere in the 27-30 range. There are a several nice videos you'll find if you Google "Cinematic Drone Shots". Reveal, Crane...

    Riu Dunamar, Cancun

That was exactly my thoughts...keep the family one, then use the edited one for posting. Also have some nice photos of the resort in the morning hours to add-in. Sidenote....the shot out of the room over the balcony looking at the walkway to the beach, we called that the "walk of shame" as it...

Need help on traveling with drone

Just back from Cancun, took my Mavic Air 2 and had zero questions from security in the U.S.A, or in Mexico on the drone or the batteries. Both were in my carry-on.

    Riu Dunamar, Cancun

Just back from a quick 5 day vacation with the family in Cancun, MX. Took the drone as carry-on without any problems. 400' max alt. in Mexico with line-of-sight. I shot a lot of video and subsequently got rid of a lot and cobbled together the rest into the video linked below. There were some...
