Well, I assumed the sensors it has on the bottom measured the altitude, . Obviously something measures the altitude at the home point, so it's not that far a stretch that it would always be monitoring the altitude. And of course, the owners manual explains all this....yeah sure!! What good is...

Edit...I just noticed I'm in the wrong section...Mine is a mavic pro, not mini.... I'm having this same issue with my MP and never noticed it on my Spark before....Maybe just because the range is so much further on the MP. It would seem the altitude display should show an accurate distance...

Well I went ahead and ordered 2 new batteries from Walmart for $144. At this price you know they are old stock so it's a crap shoot, but at least they will be warrantied. I bought this fly more kit for $750 as a Black Friday special, and now i know why....Old stock! Seems like DJI would step...

I also had a hawk chase me at dusk and followed me home, then perched on a tree limb 25' away watching for a few minutes. Good to know about ascending!!

I bought this MP back in December 2018 and due to health issues, just opened it. It is not activated. I did have a single light on 2 of the batteries but none would take a charge and now all 3 are completely dead. I have tried the car charger, the hub, and the individual, and I have left them...

You sure better or they will be garbage, like all 3 of mine! This is ridiculous on new never used batteries!

Did you eve find a fix?

So how did you make out? I'm in the exact same predicament, only all 3 of my batteries are "dead", or in hibernation or something. Brand new unit never activated, was new in December but just getting around to setting it up now.
