Seriously, I wouldn't change a thing. I uploaded the latest version for my Mavic Pro and now I can't seem to flash any other versions of firmware into her. Best to stick to the firmware you have, as it gives you fat more control over your parameters.

I tried everything but nothing worked to remove the 500m max altitude. When I reloaded the latest version it actually says it's not possible to reinstall an earlier version. It came original, secondhand, with the latest version so guess the role back software I downloaded off the 'net is out of...

Thanks for that, I did use this guide, and others, I've downloaded old versions of firmware but even though it looks like it's changed altitude parameters the 500m max remains. DJI must have embedded this coding so deep it can't be changed.

Ah! Think I'd neglected to download the other file you sent me.

when i click on it to open it I'm asked what do I want to open it with. I didn't get this before, it simply went into programme files. My head is shattered with it.
