If your phone gps is all over the place maybe the drone gps was too, your phone gps should be very accurate so maybe there is a disturbance in the signal.
Yes, when you go into editor on the app and to album there is a symbol in the top left corner, looks like a triangle with an arrow inside. Click that and you will get your photo/vid. Also works with pics taken in another app like mavic fpv.
I also just bought a second hand mavic pro, advantage was all the kit you can get with a good deal, case extra battery’s etc. The mavic air is a nice bird but what put me off was no occusync but wifi (enhanced) and less flighttime.
An alternative would be the use of a tablet with hdmi output. You use a tablet mount for the tablet (nividia shield is commonly used) and hdmi out to the monitor. Cheaper too.
My ipad air also hardly works, very intermittend video and losing connection, my guess is the device is just to old. Not fast enough to process the data.
Oh drama queen, a felony?

A little more? You can get a good deal on a used mavic pro around 7-800, usually with some nice extra’s like battery’s and a case. A mavic pro 2 is like 1499 for the drone with one battery?
If you look you can snag up a nice mavic pro secondhand from somebody wanting to upgrade to a mavic pro/zoom 2. I just bought my first drone in a very complete kit for a nice price. It is really worth it.
My non gps ipad air will download the software just fine, it even runs. It just loses videofeed/connection all the time. But you should be able to run it without a gps.
