You resurrected a thread from almost 3 years ago! The last time I was in spartanburg was in 2004 so I'm not much help! Lived there for 4 years close to BiLo and Piggly Wigley. Hopefully someone will chime in soon but my best guess is to find somewhere in the foothills to fly. Good luck...
I originally bought this tablet to use with another drone (walkera scout x4). That money pit was retired once the Mavic 2 was released and the tablet continued to work well with my m2z, up until the last update (when I experienced my first disconnect). Since then I’ve cleaned out all...
I'm too chickens*** to attempt 5 miles let alone going further, unless I win the lotto ;). My problem is that although my tablet does the job with a 10" screen it is not a supported device by dji and go4 uses a lot of resources. I had the app crash once mid flight, restarted the tablet...
I would really like to have the ability to fly 6 miles out but in reality I've never flown further than 2 miles LOL! Plus I don't want more flight restrictions and/or deal with app crashes when my bird is flying well. Thank you guys for helping me make a decision!
I'm also worried that I will be locked out of some of the areas I fly in once I update the app. Not sure if that part can be undone when reverting back to the version I'm using.
Just as the title states, is it possible? The reason I'm asking is because I'm using a Samsung sm-t580 (android 8.1.0) and im worried about the app possibly crashing mid flight.
I use a Tab A with my 3 person pop up hunting blind and swivel chair! I’m in the shade at all times with no signal obstruction....I don’t need all those nits!!!!
Let us know how the RE goggles work with your m2z. I've wanted to buy these for a while but as you've stated there are mixed results on how well they function with the mavic 2 series. Cool username by the way ?
I believe the device you're using has to have a 3.5 mm jack to connect it to the fatsharks. I have a pair of hdo's I'd love to connect with it but that would require me to buy another tablet. I'm waiting to see if dji can fix the goggle problem to decide what direction I want to go in...
Several weeks ago I took my zoom out to just about 1 mile and still had full bars?? I didn’t have any vegetation or buildings blocking my view. This was in upstate ny out in the countryside so minimal WiFi interference.
