This isn't what you are asking to do, but my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10 runs Litchi with no problem. The Mini 2 is on the list of supported drones for Litchi.
It might be different on different drone models, but this old thread tells how to do it on the old Mavic Pro. It worked for me.

I still have my Spark and it's batteries that were purchased in May 2018. I have hundreds of flights on it and (so far) am still using all of the original batteries with no problems.
Your transition to Florida life will go much better if you realize that you aren't the only one who likes the "laid back" lifestyle. Everyone else there likes it too, and when a contractor or other business tells you they will do it tomorrow, you need to understand, they probably won't do it...
I have used my Galaxy Tac A (2016) Model number SM-T580 running Android 8.1.0 with Litchi for a couple of years with my Mavic Pro. I had a problem connecting to the controller, but resolved it by reversing the cable. I use Litchi, but I have used DJI GO a couple of times with no problem.
Image 1 is a frame of video from a Spark. Everything on auto(exposure,focus,etc.) 6,000 ft from fireworks.
Images 2, 3 and 4 are frames from video on a Mavic Pro. Everything on auto(exposure,focus,etc.) 5200 to 6000 ft from fireworks.
The Mavic won't stream 4K video, no matter what display device you use. It stores higher res video to the on-board MicroSD card. My Samsung Galaxy 10" pad works great.
In the year and a half since I bought Litchi, I have flown with DJI GO4 just one time, and have, since, completely removed it from my phone. Fewer than 5% of my flights are way-point missions, but I like having a single app that works the same with my Mavics and Sparks. I have never regretted...
