Do you save all those raw files from mavic pro from every flight ? External storage/ Buy cloud storage ?

I tried to use a cloud service called Thunderdrive.io and then I realised it was a scam after paying up. Upload is annoyingly slow and unreliable. I used to have iDrive in the past for backup of my photos but I forgot to renew and it takes about a week to upload 2TB

Anti UAV Technology to Take Inflight control of your Drone.

If your computer can be hijacked by a website, installing crapware without you knowing it, then surely RC communications with drones can be hijacked at well. Probably not easy because the protocols will be proprietary, but look at what happened to the iPhone with jailbreaking. There are plenty...

Pure genius, or the dumbest idea ever?

Well done. That looks totally badass. It reminds me of the nasty drones in Terminator.

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS TO A DRONE AFTER A WATER EVENT

Pure genius, or the dumbest idea ever?

I get mail. It takes ages. I pay for shipping. I pay for customs. I pay for the post office to keep the parcel for me. The shops don't have them. The other day, I had a choice of ND filters or nothing (I wanted ND with PL). I ordered some on Amazon, they take 16 days to arrive. From Amazon...

Pure genius, or the dumbest idea ever?

I wanted to get a strobe light for my mavic air, but they are not that easy to find where I live so I improvised. I bought the cheapest bike LED light I could find, and attached it to the battery with some 3M velcro. It adds 37g to the drone, uses 2x AAA batteries, and is as bright as hell...

    New to drones intimidation!

I bought mine second hand a couple of weeks ago and I can relate to what the op is saying. So far I experienced the following problems: 1. 3 batteries on charger, only 1 charging (this is normal behaviour, the batteries charge in turn). Probably in the manual, answer found on the internet. 2...

    Hello from Dubai

Hi. Yes and no. Dubai is one of 7 emirates, and they have a FAA equivalent called the GCAA. It took me 5 minutes to register the mavic with the GCAA online, and they provide an app, called Drone Hub that will tell you about the no-fly zones. I think that this is for UAE residents only though...
