What version of the Go App comes preinstalled on CS

That's good to know. I tend to do rapid deployments. The quicker I can get in the air, the less of a chance I attract onlookers who always want to ask questions (i.e. distractions = buzzkill). What version of FW were you running before reverting back? Were you ever forced to be connected (via...

What version of the Go App comes preinstalled on CS

Hi @daisy-girl -- I was referring to the Crystal Sky monitor. The brightness issue I was referring to was in regards to not being able to view the in-flight monitor when flying in bright day light, not exposure/camera settings. Thx tho.

What version of the Go App comes preinstalled on CS

Hi All -- I'm currently running the Go App v4.1.3 (on a OnePlus One running Android v6.0.1 that is always set in airplane mode) to fly my Mavic Pro running FW v01.03.400. Things have been great and the only issue I've had is that the photos taken inflight don't always download to the OnePlus...

New Firmware Update for Crystalsky (V02.06.03.00)

Hi Moderators -- you can kill this thread -- I see that there's another thread (12th April 2018 - New CrystalSky firmware on the DJI CS website) that's already present but didn't contain the version # in the thread title. (I'd kill this thread, but I didn't see the option to so. thx)

New Firmware Update for Crystalsky (V02.06.03.00)

Has anyone tried the new CS Firmware v02.06.03.00 (released 2018-04-12)? Any input of what version of the Go App is installed? Thx

I just got a 7.85" CrystalSky, how do I update the firmware on my Mavic Pro with it?

I totally don't want to fork this tread, but do you have a separate post/thread on this site expressing your use of the Titan Cyclone that I can follow the link for? (I was looking into getting an RF Amp several months ago, then got too busy to follow up on. Now, im distracted with getting a CS)

Current ETA of the Mavic II?

My Mavic has been out of commission for a couple of weeks due to "Gyroscope error". I have a replacement camera barrel on order from China -- It should be here between now and 4 weeks... Anyways, I've been jonesing to fly (the 2+ week widthdraw is killing me). I've thought about picking up a...

Gimbal Gyroscope Error after ribbon cable replacement

@StreetDoc40 thx for the input. I have a replacement camera barrel on order from China (eBay), with an ETA of 1 to 5 more weeks. (I guess it's having a fun ride on a boat.) Because of the long turn-around on shipping, I've been contemplating if I want to order ribbon cables too as a contingency...

Gimbal Gyroscope Error after ribbon cable replacement

Yeah, I tried both Gimbal Recenter and AutoACalibrate Gimbal but i saw no response/movement with the gimbal, and nothing showed (i.e. prompts) on the screen. (I never used these actions before, so I am not sure what I should see happen.) Focus and shutter speed still function. I am able...

Gimbal Gyroscope Error after ribbon cable replacement

Hi @Thunderdrones. I'm getting the "Gimbal gyroscope error" message too. Nothing significant has happened -- trying to launch the drone during my lunch brake and noticed the gimbal would not center after it does it's power up cycle (pitch, roll tests). No response from the left thumb wheel. I...

Timelapse with pictures more frequent than 5 seconds

"5 seconds"? I swear I've done it at 1 second interval with Go v4.1.3. I'll attempt to verify on my next session.

    Long expose shots

You should try and do some ground testing from the backyard/frontyard this evening to establish some baselines. That way, you can be more prepared and make better use of the narrow window during the golden hour, where you might have some contrasts to balance out (dim foreground against a...

    Long expose shots

Not necessarily. I haven't used Tripod mode yet, so I'm not sure what I'd gain. I prefer flying all manual. In the example shot in my earlier post, there was a slight breeze (1-2 mph if that), but I was far away from the subject where the drift of several inches didn't affect the shot in a...

    NFZs - what exactly happens?

Disclaimer: I'm posting this is an FYI, not condoning flying in NFZ. There's a narrow window where you can get the motors to start if you are in a NFZ --- in that short period where the Mavic is powering up, but didn't get a GPS lock (to know it was in a NFZ). But once the Mavic got the GPS...
