The MP is my first REAL drone (not counting those small, indoor types), and I can't say it's been difficult. There is a learning curve associated with flying, but I'm taking it one step at a time. I'm reading and watching videos to improve my skills. Learning, IMO, is the fun part.

I'm sure there are power saving features turned on by default; I have not changed anything on my phone. No, I have not tried airplane mode, so I will try that.

I've had my Mavic for less than a week now, and I've started seeing the video feed on my iPhone go out almost regularly. If I disconnect and re-connect the Lightning connector it will come back, but sometimes goes out again after a few minutes. Any thoughts?
