Significantly reduced memory usage with 4.0.7 on Nougat (OP3). Only dry-tested..
Maybe they fixed a memoryleak occuring with previous Versions in combination with Nougat?
I did some dryrun test (too bad weather and dark outside now), and noticed that the App 4.0.7 consumes only a small fraction of memory that it used to do in previous App versions. Got it up and running for some 25-30 Minutes without a crash and with only a constant memory usage of 50-60MB...
Don't upgrade, yet. Better wait for GO4 to get stable with Nougat.
The current Issues are somewhat related to Android 7x (Nougat) in combination with the latest GO4 Updates.
This seems to be an interessting Idea. Birdstrikes on Drones are not so uncommon.
The only possible Problem I see: If it contains metal it will probably interfere with the Compass. So would probably not be a good Idea to wrap you Mavic into this :)
