Yeah they've done a good job at creating a drone that is easy to travel with, whilst packing a punch. I'm still a rookie and have a giant learning curve ahead of me but loving every minute I'm in the air.

I've done both naturecone and tcope's suggestions, and I reinstalled the app on my iPhone. It worked! Not sure what it actually was that made it work, but all that matters is, is that I got it to work.

That is actually very, very helpful! I bought a drone myself yesterday, and was unaware that I can't fly at night! every version of the DJI mavic comes with the RC though. I bought the regular version, not the fly more, and it came with the RC and anything else I needed to take off.
