Mavic anti-collision lights and Part 107

This post is two years old. Are the STROBONs still the top lights for flying during civil twilight? The source linked to here is out of stock. Any other seller that folks have had good luck with?

AGL and MSL on sectional charts, which?

This says that C and D are "charted" in MSL. https://www.faa.gov/regulations_policies/handbooks_manuals/aviation/phak/media/17_phak_ch15.pdf So numbers you see for those are MSL numbers. E typically has no numbers, instead you look at whether it's a magenta broken line, magenta shading or...

The best travel drone - no questions asked.

If I want to travel with mine! How do I determine what local drone regulations are? Especially in foreign countries that aren't English speaking? Is there some sort of database where we can look at drone regulations across the globe? I remember reading a horror story about a drone being...

Will flying through fog damage the mavic?

Fog is essentially a cloud at ground level. The FAA say that you must stay 500 feet below clouds. End of story.

    Underage Drinking & Part 107

If you're working with an attorney, I'm going to suggest taking this up with him/her. It might turn on exactly how your infraction is reported.

Controller won't connect to Mavic Pro

Thank-you for these instructions. My Mavic has just come back from repairs and I don't remember seeing any advice in the packaging that I needed to re-pair the unit. Now I'm updating firmware. Hopefully after the firmware update I'll be in flying shape again.

first flight today,,,,,,,,,scared the,,,,,, out of me

I have used return to home on almost every flight, including my first one, and I'm pretty sure I was in beginner mode in some of those. Most of the time it's an extremely smooth, very precise landing. I did have one that was very erratic when it got within about five feet of the ground...

Are camera (still) and video settings not completely independent?

Sorry for the confusion there. The question about picking RAW was an option is only for stills. (You aren't given RAW as an option for video.) The question / statements was that all those color, style settings (like D-Log) should be irrelevant if you choose RAW capture for stills. Sorry I...

Are camera (still) and video settings not completely independent?

Robert Mitchell from BBH? In my limited experience so far (12 flights) I have shot mostly video, but I'd love to be able to grab some stills every now and then. My biggest issue so far is just keeping my fingers warm (Maine winter) and not having my iPhone give out before my supply of Mavic...

Are camera (still) and video settings not completely independent?

Cool. I didn't know there was such an animal. I thought this was the real thing. Thanks.

Are camera (still) and video settings not completely independent?

Is this your way of saying they read everything and just making this post is all I need to do?
