Not my experience at all, esp. Air 3 looks much better than Mini 3 Pro in this regard and even on Mini 3 the 48MP had much more real detail than 12MP (granted, with some artifacts esp. in certain situations - but nothing that would qualify saying “details almost not recognizable”).

The gimbal cover seemed easier at first hand but **** if isn’t finicky MF once again! And this time around it comes with new issues: there are separate rubber “seals” that should hug the gimbal parts, but those fall off almost instantly. Already lost one of the seals, another one was found...

No panoramas with the 70mm I'm afraid but can do the automatic AEB as 48MP RAWs, so that helps a lot.

Well ****, life gets in the way of flying… now that the batteries are charged and firmwares updated, simply have not had a chance to go fly – and the weekend is going to be equally busy with other things. 😢 Will get back to Air 3 testing early next week!

Well the photos I quoted distinctly show both a two-camera gimbal and a single-camera gimbal.

Hmm, there's gonna be two models – one with a single camera, and another with dual cameras…?? The dual cameras look really chunky, which might be a promising indicator for also the telephoto lense having a decent-sized sensor 🤞

Hoping to see a sub-900g Air-series drone with e.g. updated 1” sensor for main wide camera and the Mini3Pro-sensor based 70mm equiv tele from Mavic 3 Pro. Personally would be fine in letting go of the 4/3 sensor and longer telephoto for a lighter C1 drone.
