The iOS DJI Fly v1.2.5 version crashed on me during flight. Fortunately I was at a high altitude and was able to restart the app and complete the flight. Running on iPad mini5 iOS 14.4. Anyone else having issues?

Thanks for all the comments. The MA2 is a joy to fly! I had no idea where the Swans were going, but their flight path zigged and zagged in front of me and was lucky to be able to follow to their destination, and still have enough battery to get back home.

For a very cheap DIY light I found one of those headband type LED lights and just strap it on when needed. Uses one AAA battery for power. I think I got a set of 2 for about $5. It’s very bright but I don’t have the specs on it.

Has anyone noticed how well the camera automatically adjusts for low light photos? Video is still total darkness but you can practically see in the dark in photo mode, using just the automatic settings. I’m no photographer but this is really awesome..

Just observe the signal strength icon on the top right of the screen, 4 white bars is good, if they turn red and drop too low you will also get a warning message for weak signal strength and to adjust your antenna.

The zoom is also great for active track, to better select your subject. You have to be at 30fps or less but it’s I nice improvement !

It seems the Fly app is unable to transfer any video format, 4K, 2.7 and 1080p when using H265 compression. The pop up below indicates the app can only transfer 1080p, but this is not true. I do it all the time. I just started seeing this when using H265. Not sure why this would not be...

There was no count down prompt issued with the 1.1.5 fly app. The software does not do what the documentation states.

On replay there was a brief warning for the low battery RTH, but no option with the current Fly App to cancel it. The pilot should be given an option to land or RTH in this case. I was just sharing my experience, so others might avoid the same result.
