As per the initial post by akdrone, "somebody" has to pay that 145% tariff. The money goes into the US Treasury, thereby making america great again.
On a $3,000 drone, a 145% tariff is an extra $4,350 import tax surcharge...
Looks like we will get to see what Amazon thinks are the actual tariffs imposed on each of their products with plans to publish it widely (on their website) for all paying customers to see. Interesting.
The importer pays the tariff. If you personally are the importer, then you pay the tariff. If you're buying the item off the shelf at Walmart, then Walmart (as the importer) will have paid the tariff and you see the effect of that in the price...
Don't believe everything you hear. The person spewing that stuff, the one who has recently been so dismissive of Canada, has a long, well documented history of saying things that aren't quite accurate.
