Mavic Air vs Mavic Air Help

Why are there both? Some MAH posts are not about help and some MA posts are asking for/providing help. I realize its down to us to select the right section but would it not just be easier to have it all under Mavic Air? Just sayin..

    Mavic Air Video Question

I've started using Power Director on my Android smartphone and to be honest, if a beginner like me can get to grips with it, anyone can. Its available for free to try and only £30~ a year for the full version if you do like it. Maybe isn't as flash as some but its perfect for me.

RISK OF DAMAGING CONTROLLER MICRO USB PORT!

I've just checked the remote charger lead that came with my MA (which I dont use) and its a normal micro usb plug, not a type A. You'd think DJI would at least provide a usb A plug to fit the usb A socket, as they do on the phone to remote lead.

Anybody use this Strobe on Mavic Air?

To be honest, when I first started using the LEDs I felt the same, so I used an elastic band to hold them on, along with the velcro. I forgot to fit the band a couple of times and the drone came back with them safe and sound, so I tend not to bother now.

Anybody use this Strobe on Mavic Air?

To be honest, it takes longer to turn them both on, than it does to attach them.

Anybody use this Strobe on Mavic Air?

I use two Strobon cree's, a red rear and white foward, mounted on the batteries with vecro. They are mounted so as to provide an optimal viewing angle from the ground. The only draw back is I need to use extension legs for the strobes to clear when sat on the ground.

Gimbal Cover removal to download video

To be honest, I don't have a problem removing the sd card. Mine has a little ridge on the underside which allows me to get a finger nail under it and pull it out quite easily. I think removing the card to download is preferable to unfolding the arms, removing the gimbal cover and powering up...

How to fine a good place to fly in North Norfolk

Old Hunstanton Beach and the adjoining huge grassy carpark would be an excellent place.

    where to fly Devon

I live on the Bere Peninsula (between the rivers Tamar and Tavy) in between Tavistock and Plymouth. There are plenty scenic places to fly around here especially if you don't mind flying over water or mud if the tides out.

Prevent a Crash or Flyaway with Your DJI Mavic (the Complete Guide)

From todays experience, I'd like to suggest a rather tongue in cheek addition to the "Landing Tips" ie. Make sure there isn't a large Labrador in your flying field, who's idea of fun is to jump up and intercept your pride and joy while its trying to land, while the owner wanders off...

Prevent a Crash or Flyaway with Your DJI Mavic (the Complete Guide)

No need for a PDF. I just saved to desktop and put the shortcut in my drone folder.

    Sudden Battery Critical Landing

I hope it stays that way and I'll be one of them too.

    Sudden Battery Critical Landing

As a recent MA owner, I've read through this thread with a great deal of trepidation. I can't honestly say I understood all of it, there are obviously some extremely knowledgeable people on this forum and as a noob to flying and drones, a lot of it went way over my head. Could I kindly ask...

    Another Mavic Air Battery Question

Well 2 actually. 1.Is there a MA multi battery charger available which charges all the batteries simultaneously rather than one at a time? 2. I notice the output of the MA battery charger is 13.2 VDC. Is there any reason why a charging lead couldn't be wired direct to a vehicle battery...

    Greetings from Devon UK

Thank you gentlemen for the warm welcome. Pross, 9I was flying on the old Harrowbeer airfield near Yelverton and its only since I got back that I found out it contravenes the local bye laws to fly on Dartmoor. Jim
