Looking out my hotel room in Boston last week, I thought I saw a crashed drone on a rooftop across the way. Upon closer review of the photo when I got home, turns out it's a desk fan. Probably preferable to a bummed-out drone pilot.

I'm learning about DroneDeploy, and am curious as to how existing users like it. E.g., is the automated flight control reliable and flexible? Is the image handling and cloud interface dependable? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I’m doing the same thing. My new E58 is getting quite the workout itself, but it’s a good confidence builder for when I fly my MPP. I’m gonna get some E58s for my “drone-prone” nephews. Lots of great advice on this board!

Love my MPP, but HAD to check out the E58. Great 2MP/720 camera, onboard MicroSD, video streaming to free smartphone app, under $100 (w/2 extra batteries, yet cheaper with just one). Way harder to fly than my MPP, but way cheaper, that’s kinda the point.

OK, found Notification Settings and actual Notifications in the Settings menu, but reading the “noted” posts, and even clicking Mark as Read doesn’t clear the notification badge on the app. Looks like a bug.

Too cold and windy at the moment. Decidedly NOT Sunny and 51 like the Apple Weather app says. Actually overcast and under 30. But the wind is the issue.

My MPP’s first trip; going to check out Olympic Valley tomorrow. Gonna take it very easy, it’s cold and snowy.
