Please note that everything west of the road up Oak Creek Canyon is in the Red Rock Secret Mountain Wilderness Area and is a no-fly zone for drones, unfortunately. The east side of the canyon is OK, but controlled air space starts at 700', so make sure you stay below the 400' AGL limit.

I live next to two national parks and you cannot fly over them, no matter where you take off and land. That's like saying you can overfly a military installation if you take off and land outside the base perimeter. Bad things will happen to you in either situation if you get caught.
