Ive contacted DJI and sent them the info they require but the McDAT folder seems to be empty when I try open it. should I be worried?

yes, checked the find my drone app. only marked the end of the flight path. did not log the reconnect.

Ok so going forward.. check the area the flight path finishes in the morning and if that fails, request the DAT files from DJI? Or will they just review them for me?

would the files in the 'Logs' folder be of any use? example DJILog_2020-06-28[10][52][39](902)

yes. literally just leaves and bramble. couldnt even tell you if it was a tree, a bush or some grass on the ground. very unclear.

One more stupid question for you if you dont mind. If DJI provided me with the dat file for when it reconnected, would that give me any indication as to where to look?

As you can probably tell I'm fairly new to drones. Still trying to grasp the basics.

A message appeared after disconnecting saying that RTH disabled

the folder 'MCDatFileRecords' is empty. is this where I should be looking?

presume mobile dat file wont have logged the location of the brief reconnection i mentioned?

any ideas?
