msinger replied to the thread Compass Calibration.I'm not really offering guidance. Just pointing out the seemingly overlooked possibility that you may have been calibrating the compass unnecessarily. Not that I'm aware of. This is how compass calibrations have functioned for some years now.

msinger replied to the thread Compass Calibration.Per the guide above, that's typically an indicator that you should not calibrate the compass. It normally occurs when the compass is/was near some type of magnetic metal source.

New member post, I have my part 107 and fly as an employee at our local airport for wildlife deterrence and security purposes. Flying the Mavic 2 Dual Enterprise. Looking to learn from members here, and start up my own business later.
