My biggest concern regarding returning it is that my dji refresh care wont transfer over to the new one and Ive already paid for that. Not a huge deal though, just hate throwing money away

Thats what the problem is. The cable wont stay fully seated in that connector. I have to actually hold it down with my finger to keep it connected. Sometimes it stays connected without me having to do this but thats a huge inconvenience to deal with on a drone that doesnt have that many flights...

The other option is to do waypoint flights with Litchi, since losing reception isnt an issue. My recommendations are to watch a few of "Dirty Birds" youtube videos. He pretty much always flys from inside his vehicle and also has put out some of the coolest drone edits ive seen. Super inspiring ...

So do you have to be a "tester" to run litchi on ios with mini 2 ? I cant get it to connect to litchi with ios. Works fine on my other birds but won t connect to the mini 2 unless im using fly on ios or using litchi on my android

Always seems so scary when a app crashes during a flight. But, I would assume that even if Litchi crashes during a waypoint flight that the bird would still continue on with the mission since the waypoints are loaded into the drone. Although Ive had both Dji and Litchi crash on me mid flight...
