UPDATE:FIXED I replaced the PTZ cable and my image returned and all is well. Must have pinched or had a bad cable to begin with.

I will check. Just to clarify the video signal is sent over the stranded silver cable and the gimbal functions are transmitted over the flat black ribbon cable (this came with the gimbal).

The flat ribbon cable or the stranded cable? The gimbal I bought had the flat cable with it. I replaced the stranded cable with a new one although it could be bad. I did order another one and will swap it to check. The gimbal appears to work properly which would mean the flat cable is working right?
