seems to me that the gimbal is performing the startup procedure like it did on earlier firmwares. Believe that the .500 included optimized gimbal calibration that slowed down this procedure. What firmware are you running?

Cant stand the mayhem caused by the remote when alerting - so in my case I'm sticking with 20% and 10%. I've made it a habit to constantly keep an eye out the battery level. Rarely land with less than 25-30%. Have never been alerted, and I have no plan to be before they give me an option to...

Hi Nick. No I haven't. Have just calibrated the compass once. Perhaps I should take som time to calibrate everything, and not just IMU and compass. Will be getting back to this thread as soon as I've calibrated (at least IMU and compass) and give a report. Thanks for your input!

Coming in with a little update here. Haven't calibrated anything yet, but I checked out the rest of my footage of yesterday. The pictures below shows a main road that goes straight through my town, and you can clearly see that the camera is aiming in a different direction than the flightpath...

RC looks fine, have checked it out. Shows 100% when going full throttle forward, and 0% everywhere else. Thanks, Marius.

Thanks a lot guys - will try a calibrations as soon as possible. Compass has been calibrated once due to an error message. Hopefully IMU calibration will fix this problem. Will update here later! Marius.

I'm experiencing some drifting in yaw when stationary in the air. Have only calibrated the compass once (got yellow readings). HAve stuck to the theory to only calibrate when prompted. IMU readings are good (green). Controller calibration says 0% on everything when i'm not using it. Have heard...

Suddenly the sky opened up above me after several days with heavy snowfall. My Mavic was in the air in less than 5 minutes. Only got 10-15 minutes, but got enough to make a short one! 4K, 30fps, D-Cinelike, -1,-1,-1, PolarPro ND4PL and color corrected in FCPX w/ Color Finale. Hope you enjoy it...
