I'll most likely just buy a new charger and maybe a new battery. That way I could eliminate any problems and just focus on flying safely. Appreciate your responses. Have a great week.

It's a 3rd party charger by a brand called Smatree. I've looked at recent reviews of this charger and nothing like this has happened...yet.
