I intend to use footage from both a Mavic Air and a GoPro hero5 session. Any tips to ensure footage from both looks similar in terms of colour profile etc?
Ok, so to be absolutely sure, if the air is in FCC mode in a CE area, the new DJI go 2.1.12 will display a popup stating that the WiFi mode will be changed. There will be no option to cancel, but the air will remain in FCC mode regardless?
The changelog for DJI Go Android 4.2.12 mentions something about simplifying popup messages. I would suspect this is removing the option to cancel the WiFi change to CE, as in iOS.
I'm not updating just yet in case this is so.
Good luck. I think you should go out with the specific purpose of making a video, rather than enjoying a ride. Also, I've found that the two free go pro apps (splice and quik) take the hassle out of editing- compared to what I used to use (Adobe elements)
I run an outdoor adventure programme in my school (mountain biking, climbing, trekking etc) A few years ago we bought a P4 to video our activities but due to the sheer size it was impractical to bring with us. We have just purchased a hero5 session and a Mavic Air, and we spent all day last...
Welcome.. I'm from sunny (!) Newcastle myself, waiting on the arrival of a Mavic air. Head to the Mournes, there's so many beautiful places to take the drone.
