I've had the same thing happen--software updates change my settings. Now I never launch without checking the settings first.

Well done! I lived on my sailboat on Wilmington Island for a couple years and would have loved to have had a drone to catch some good footage of the low country. I too film a lot over water and appreciate the footage. Good length, kept me interested, good music choice.

I use an Osmo 3 with my Samsung S9+ and am very happy with the results. $90 new is a really good price :)

Specs and price look nice, but, did they do ANYTHING about the flimsy props and unncommanded descent issues of the Mini? Because price and features don't mean a whole when they're dropping out of the sky.......

I know I would NOT use those. The MM props are very thin, as thus highly prone to warping. Look on the DJI website, they actually sell prop guards for the mini for a pretty reasonable price....
