DJI RC1B Controller Mount for Tripltek 9Pro?

I don't have that tablet, but for my iPad Air 2, I like the mavmount. It holds the tablet steady with an added sunshade. https://mavmount.com/ Chris

DJI Mavic 2 Pro - Cannot take off

They can go from debris or water in the motor too. Me personally, I would put props on and make sure they spin freely, then try again with DJI Assistant 2. If you still get the ESC error, it's probably time for a trip to the service department. Chris

DJI Mavic 2 Pro - Cannot take off

It's hard to say, because those ESC controllers can go on their own. If she crashed the aircraft, you would probably see some other signs of it. Chris

DJI Mavic 2 Pro - Cannot take off

Note that when you connect your Mavic 2 to your computer via DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic, it can be very fussy about what USB port you connect to. If you plug in, but the screen still shows you the USB connection page (and you have no "Connected Devices" menu), then you have to try other USB...

My First 3rd Party Battery - TOO HOT?

That's a great price for a DJI certified and warranted battery. I would still test it for levels, temps, and swelling of course, but it looks like it's worth a try. Chris

My First 3rd Party Battery - TOO HOT?

I bought a Satonaka M2P battery off of Amazon and I have a question about heat. I flew the battery yesterday (with velco strap just in case) and wore it down to the first warning and then some (all close by). I can report this: In the end, the temp was 53c No swelling was detected then (still...

    DJI Intelligent Battery Optimal Life

I get that, but I disagree that it's a "bigger concern", a statement you made that was the sole reason for me even responding. I never said that. I believe if you had the numbers, the percentage of M2 batteries that had the swelling problem was probably far fewer than the total. DJI...

    DJI Intelligent Battery Optimal Life

I would not call that a bigger concern, since only a certain percent will swell, but ALL batteries will die (and do so sooner without care). I believe there was a certain manufacturing period where the occurrence of swollen batteries was unusually high, so it's not a normal risk for all...

    DJI Intelligent Battery Optimal Life

I can't answer that, but I believe I can still say something valuable. I sold my old Phantom kit last year. I had it for many years, several years after retiring it for the M2P. I had 5-6 batteries (which I took good care of per your description) and all were still functional when I sold it...

    Bracketing for HDR etc

I didn't take it personally and I know you're just stating opinions. My only reason for replying was your weird assertion that Lightroom will hold your images hostage if you decide not to use it. No reason to add such nonsense to your comparisons. As for your assertion that Darktable is more...

    Bracketing for HDR etc

Many/most of us using Lightroom use LR Classic, which is local storage (no cloud). The cloud version of LR also allows you to store local. If you know decided you're going to cancel your subscription, just download all of your content from the cloud first (and they give you a generous...

Most efficient way to fly(like MPG on a car)Mavic 2 Pro

Yes but, it will do those calculations without knowing the difference in wind speed for the return trip, which is one of the reasons why our return warnings have buffer time.

Most efficient way to fly(like MPG on a car)Mavic 2 Pro

The best possible technique to use here is to return to home without ignoring low battery warning. You can do estimations by looking at your distance from home point and make your own calculations (same distance to return), but you can be bit by longer return times when you hit a head wind (or...

Mavic 2 Pro connection to lightning port

The comment was "I connect my iPhone/iPad to the lower type-A USB port via a short cable (you can get on Amazon) and only use the micro USB port for charging (as the others mentioned)." The cable recommendation from AZ is for the lower Type-A port, used for connecting to your device for running...

Mavic 2 Pro connection to lightning port

The DJI docs will have you use the upper micro USB port just like you first assumed. But these forums are full of people who did that and after some amount of use, had a non-working remote (because the micro USB port connections to the internal electronics are not robust). I connect my...
