I Found This Version of Assistant 2 to Work on My Mavic 2

When I follow that HERE link, I do go to a page that states "DJI Assistant 2(Updates discontinued)". But it's for version 1.2.5 for Windows/1.2.4 for Mac, NOT version version 2.0.14 as you state. EDIT: Note that I do keep a version of DJI Assistant 2 v1.1.2, which previously was the only...

Where to purchase new batteries for Mavic 2 Pro?

That's for the Mavic Air 2 (not a Mavic Pro). Chris

Where to purchase new batteries for Mavic 2 Pro?

I think 3rd party is probably your only choice at this point. I've had two: The one from 'Satonaka' fit and worked, but the cells overheated a bit. Still, there was no swelling. (link here) The one from 'XDJXWJN' fit, worked, and stayed at a reasonable temp. It's also lower price. (link here)...

    Controller?

Also, if you're getting compass errors on first use of a used aircraft that you've never flown, you should definitely calibrate the compass. It's not a difficult or lengthy procedure (see the owners manual or google a tutorial). Do it outside, of course.

Smart Controller lost connection to Mavic 2 Pro

Yeah, the 'travel a certain number of miles' requirement has been dropped in newer models such as the M3. It's possible that they've even removed that requirement from M2 firmware, but I can't confirm it. The M2 also requires recalibration of the aircraft hasn't been flown for more than 30...

Smart Controller lost connection to Mavic 2 Pro

I really don't believe most M2s have this. Mine doesn't and I've never seen a rash of reports on these boards about it. It will (and has) asked for calibration every time that I've moved HP more than a certain distance (50 miles I think it is) and that happens often on road trips, naturally...

Smart Controller lost connection to Mavic 2 Pro

During this 'compass needs calibration every day' period, has you always been working in the same general region? Did it keep happening after moving far away from that area? I'm just wondering if there is any kind of interference in the area that would knock out OcuSync transmission, like...

Critically low auto-land with TWO batteries - drone or batter(ies) issue?

Just as an aside, are we no longer heeding the wisdom of never flying on a half-depleted battery (fly half of it one day, fly on the 2nd have the next day)? Flying half-depleted batteries were once one strong possible reason for power failures in the sky (aircrafts falling to the ground and...

Seems crazy! No more T mode Mavic 2 Pro no side obstacle avoidance any mode.

I think I noticed the lack of T-mode (but didn't pursue further at the time because I was testing for other things). But I did not notice that lack of side obstacle avoidance. I also noticed the update had removed my ATTI mode hack (configured into the S-mode position) but have yet to attempt...

Focus Issue ~ Normal or not?

Auto focus doesn't mean continual focus. I don't have a Smart Controller, but I have to half-press the shutter button on my M2P to focus because I prefer Single (non-continuous) focus mode. (You can also program a C button to focus.) Search your M2P manual for "Auto Focus-Continuous". I always...

    Controller Issues

You CAN replace the batteries in these. You can find them on eBay, a little cheaper on aliexpress, all of them being several weeks of shipping to come from China. I don't know if it's causing your linking issue, which could happen if they start outputting lower voltage. Google says they do...

DJI RC1B Controller Mount for Tripltek 9Pro?

I don't have that tablet, but for my iPad Air 2, I like the mavmount. It holds the tablet steady with an added sunshade. https://mavmount.com/ Chris

DJI Mavic 2 Pro - Cannot take off

They can go from debris or water in the motor too. Me personally, I would put props on and make sure they spin freely, then try again with DJI Assistant 2. If you still get the ESC error, it's probably time for a trip to the service department. Chris

DJI Mavic 2 Pro - Cannot take off

It's hard to say, because those ESC controllers can go on their own. If she crashed the aircraft, you would probably see some other signs of it. Chris
